Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (Level 2) to support Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and renewable energy projects within the Engineering & Construction (E&C) business unit.

This role will focus on managing multiple projects from early-stage development through pre-construction, ensuring alignment across engineering, procurement, scheduling, and construction teams. The ideal candidate will bring strong project coordination, financial acumen, and stakeholder management experience in EPC or renewable energy environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across development, engineering, estimating, supply chain, and construction
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously across various lifecycle stages
  • Develop and define technical project scope and requirements
  • Optimize project design and financial performance
  • Support PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) and GIA (Generator Interconnection Agreement) negotiations
  • Coordinate environmental, regulatory, land acquisition, and interconnection activities
  • Collaborate with engineering and estimating teams on design and cost modeling
  • Develop, maintain, and present financial models for project approvals
  • Source, negotiate, and manage contracts (EPC, geotechnical, survey, engineering services)
  • Monitor project schedules, risks, and deliverables; implement mitigation strategies
  • Provide regular updates and presentations to senior leadership
  • Ensure smooth transition of projects to construction teams with executable plans
  • Drive process improvements and support scalability initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 4+ years of project management experience
  • Experience in engineering, construction, or infrastructure projects
  • Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in renewable energy, BESS, or power/utility projects
  • Knowledge of electricity markets and energy project development
  • PMP Certification
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with EPC project delivery models
