Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Product Owner to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining product requirements, managing the product backlog, and ensuring successful delivery of technology solutions that align with organizational goals. This role requires a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, software development processes, and product lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams, and end users.
  • Define, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog based on business value, customer needs, and strategic objectives.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, UX/UI, QA, and architecture teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and product demonstrations.
  • Make informed decisions regarding feature prioritization, scope, and release planning.
  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and business requirements to drive product enhancements.
  • Monitor product performance metrics and recommend improvements based on data-driven insights.
  • Ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations, quality standards, and technical requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and implementation challenges.
  • Support change management, user adoption, and stakeholder communication initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Owner, Business Analyst, or related product management role.
  • Strong experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Proven experience managing product backlogs and writing detailed user stories.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and system architecture concepts.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional technical teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM), or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of APIs, microservices, integrations, and data-driven applications.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and software release management.
  • Experience in digital transformation, SaaS products, or enterprise applications.
