Position Summary
We are seeking a Power BI Developer to design, build, and maintain impactful business intelligence solutions that support strategic and operational initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI development, data modeling, and visualization best practices. Experience with enterprise scheduling tools-particularly BMC Control-M-is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, enhance, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models to support key business functions.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable BI solutions.
Optimize existing dashboards for performance, usability, and data accuracy.
Implement and maintain DAX calculations, queries, and data transformations.
Work closely with data engineering teams to integrate new data sources, improve data pipelines, and ensure data quality.
Support scheduled report delivery, refresh processes, and operational workflows.
Leverage BMC Control-M or similar enterprise scheduling tools for BI refresh automation and monitoring (nice to have).
Document processes, data models, and system configurations.
Provide general BI support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field-or equivalent experience.
2-5+ years of experience developing BI solutions, with a strong focus on Power BI.
Proficiency with DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling concepts.
Solid understanding of SQL and relational database systems.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and business users.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
Hands-on experience with BMC Control-M or comparable job scheduling tools.
Experience with cloud data platforms (Preferably Azure).
Knowledge of data governance practices and BI best-in-class design standards.
Background in the financial services or asset management industry.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
