Job Summary We are seeking an Integration Engineer III to design, build, and maintain integrations and custom applications connecting Workday and SAP Ariba with internal and external systems. The role focuses on modern integration practices using Workday Studio, Connectors, EIBs, Web Services, and Orchestrate, along with custom application development using Workday Extend. The position will also contribute to the transition to SAP Ariba's Business Technology Platform (BTP), including adoption of Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh, and Open Connectors. Key Responsibilities Design and maintain integrations between Workday, SAP Ariba, and external systems. Develop and maintain custom Workday Extend applications. Support integrations across Workday HCM, Payroll, Financials, and SAP Ariba. Build and optimize SAP Ariba master and transactional data integrations. Collaborate with IT teams to deploy and monitor integrations. Contribute to SAP Ariba BTP transition initiatives. Apply software engineering principles to integration lifecycle management. Provide on-call support and troubleshooting for integration environments. Required Qualifications Expertise in web service and API technologies, including WSDL, SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, and XSLT. Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or Groovy. Experience with integration design and development for cloud-based platforms. 35 years of Workday integration development experience and/or 35 years of SAP Ariba integration development experience. Experience building Workday integrations using Studio, Cloud Connector, EIBs, Web Services (REST/SOAP), and Orchestration for Integrations. Experience utilizing SAP Ariba REST APIs, ITK, and Configuration Management. Hands-on experience with both master and transactional data integrations. Strong background in monitoring, alerting, and error handling for integrations. Ability to work and coordinate with third parties on data-related inquiries. Well-versed in Agile development methodologies, including Kanban and Scrum. Education: Bachelors Degree
