Data Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Analyst in Philadelphia, PA.

Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support business operations through data analysis, reporting, and process improvement initiatives. This role will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements, analyze data, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights that drive informed business decisions. The ideal candidate is analytical, curious, and skilled at translating complex data into meaningful recommendations. This position offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do:
* Gather, analyze, and document business and data requirements from stakeholders
* Collect, validate, and interpret data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities
* Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support operational and strategic decision-making
* Perform data analysis to evaluate business performance and recommend process improvements
* Create and maintain data models, metrics, and reporting frameworks
* Partner with business leaders and technical teams to implement data-driven solutions
* Develop and execute data validation and quality assurance processes
* Investigate and troubleshoot data discrepancies and reporting issues
* Create user documentation, data dictionaries, and training materials as needed
* Support project initiatives and provide status updates to stakeholders
* Stay current with industry trends, analytics tools, and best practices

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
* 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, reporting, or a related field
* Experience gathering and documenting business requirements
* Experience creating reports, dashboards, and data visualizations
* Experience working with databases and querying data using SQL
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
* Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings to technical and non-technical audiences
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools
* Experience supporting process improvement or business transformation initiatives
* Experience working with large datasets and enterprise reporting solutions
* Knowledge of data modeling, data governance, and data quality practices
* Familiarity with Agile project environments

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
