NOTE: Must report to work site. After 6 months Hybrid or remote may be offered.

NOTE: This area is moving from RHEL to Debian. This team will be specifically for Debian.

Skills Need:

•           Must have 10 plus years of experience working for US companies in the US.

•           Must have 4 plus years of recent (With in Last 7 years) experience working in a Banking or Brokerage environment.

·          Must have 4+ years of solid experience as a (with in last 4 years) as a Debian Admin / Engineer.

•           Must have 10+ years of experience as a Linux RHEL Admin with 5 plus years of solid ''Recent'' (with in last 3 years) experience as a Debian Admin / Engineer.

•           Must have recent experience performing a migration from RHEL to Debian (V = Jessie).

•           Must have experience performing Admin duties for Debian V7 (Wheey, V8 (Jessie) and 9 (aka Stretch) and exposure to v 10.1 (Buster).

Currently working with V8. Experience with RHEL V4, 5 and 6.

•           Must have experience with Debian V 9.7

•           Must have extensive experience performing all admin and troubleshooting duties as a Senior Debian Admin on V7 – 9.7.

•           Must have extensive recent experience in administration and developing scripts in UNIX (HP-UX, and Solaris) and Linux (Debian, and RHEL).

•           Must have extensive experience with Debian Kernel modification and tuning.

•           Must have experience with BladeLogic.

•           Experience with Virtualization technologies with VMWare.

•           Experience with troubleshooting performance and connectivity issues.

•           Must have experience troubleshooting and resolving technical issues for end-user administrators in a Debian environment.

•           Must have experience managing, controlling, and enforcing configuration changes in a large data center environment.

•           Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

•           Must have effective verbal and written English communications skills.

•           Must be able to make sound, timely decisions that have positive impact on the resolution of issues and problems.

•           Be well organized self-starter who delivers assigned work on schedule while managing multiple task under minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.

•           Excellent communication.

The JOB:

• This will be company’s New ‘Debian’ team.
• The consultants will be performing migrations from RHEL to Debian (V8 = Jessie).
• The consultants will perform daily Admin duties for Debian V7 Wheey, V8 (Jessie, 9 (aka Stretch), 9.7, and exposure to v 10.1 (Buster).

• The consultants will help the team design, develop, and maintain automated security compliance content for Linux / Debian operating systems within BMC BladeLogic Solution.
• The consultants will provide technical expertise for automation systems in support of OS, patch deployments, configuration changes, compliance reports, and general scripting leveraging BladeLogic.
• The consultant will also provide Linux technical support to system administrators of Windows, RHEL, Debian, HP-UX, and Solaris Servers.
