POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Senior Manager - Global Competitive & Market Intelligence your roles and responsibilities will include:
- Strategic BU Engagement: Partner with senior business stakeholders to identify and prioritize critical competitive and market intelligence needs.
- Problem definition: Translate key business questions into analytical problems that can be answered with combination of internal & external data sources
- Data analysis: Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis incl. advanced analytics and modeling to identify patterns, trends, and foresight signals from large data sets
- Insight Generation: Independently come up with key hypothesis and second order insights into the drivers of market trends and competitive performance
- Cross functional collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Corp. Strategy, Finance, BU strategy & leadership) to integrate insights into strategic decision-making
- Storytelling & Communication: Craft clear, compelling storylines and deliver insights into BU and corporate leadership to influence strategic priorities.
- Project Leadership: Develop workplans and execute projects independently, collaborating closely with BU and corporate leadership teams.
- Process Excellence: Define and implement repeatable, streamlined processes and methodologies for Business Units (BUs) to execute competitive and market intelligence activities effectively.
QUALIFICATIONS Most importantly, you need to be a passionate Senior Manager - Global Competitive & Market Intelligence who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Senior Manager - Global Competitive & Market Intelligence would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following: - Minimum 5 years with a strong understanding of the business landscape, key data sources, and insight generation required. Healthcare industry experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in business, data science or related field, or MBA preferred.
- Experience in competitive intelligence, market research, or strategy roles within healthcare.
- Familiarity with global healthcare trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory environments.
- Strong ability to work with big data environments, including data ingestion, transformation, and analysis using advanced tools
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed organization
