Senior EDI Systems Analyst [Healthcare EDI]

Position: Senior EDI Systems Analyst
Location: Baltimore, MD (Onsite)
Duration: Long-term contract (2 years)

Job Summary:

Seeking a Senior Systems Analyst with strong healthcare EDI experience to support enrollment and Medicaid transactions. The role focuses on analyzing, validating, and resolving EDI X12 transaction issues, ensuring accurate data processing across Health Exchange systems while collaborating with technical and business teams.

Must-Have Skills:

• Healthcare EDI / Health Exchange experience
• EDI X12 transactions (834, 999, TA1)
• Medicaid 8001 transaction processing
• EDI implementation & companion guides
• SQL for data analysis and validation
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and validate Medicaid and healthcare enrollment EDI transactions
• Review and resolve EDI X12 errors and root causes
• Validate and reconcile enrollment-related files (including 1095 formats)
• Perform data corrections and support transaction reprocessing
• Collaborate with IT, business, vendors, and testing teams
• Translate business requirements into EDI technical solutions
