We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our Card Risk Organization, specifically focusing on Regulatory Monitoring. You will be responsible for maintaining Business-As-Usual (BAU) operations, ensuring data integrity for regulatory compliance, and troubleshooting complex legacy scripts. This role requires an independent problem-solver who can navigate large-scale data environments like Snowflake and Databricks.

responsibilities:

Partner with Card Risk - Adherence Quality Assurance (AQA) team to deliver on their regulatory control monitoring, data governance and automation agenda


Communicating with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements


Build well-managed data solutions, tools, and capabilities to enable self-service frameworks for data consumers


Partner with the business to provide consultancy and translate the business needs to design and develop tools, techniques, metrics, and dashboards for insights and data visualization


Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining and improving existing reporting solutions


Demonstrate ability to explore and quickly grasp new technologies to progress varied initiatives


Drive analysis that provides meaningful insights on business strategies


Drive an understanding and adherence to the principles of data quality management including metadata, lineage, and business definitions


Build and execute tools to monitor and report on data quality




qualifications:

Required Qualifications


Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis or engineering.


Technical Proficiency:


Advanced Python & SQL: Must be able to write and debug complex queries and scripts.


Platforms: Mandatory experience with Snowflake and Databricks.


OOP: Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming.


Analytical Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and "reverse engineer" old scripts independently.


Big Data: Functional knowledge of Spark.
