Summary

We're looking for a Senior system development engineer to lead our frontend and full-stack development efforts. In this role, you will design and implement web architecture using React, Node.js, and JavaScript while integrating with ERP systems and AWS components. You'll establish frontend development standards, lead the transformation of user experiences, and mentor senior engineers across multiple teams. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll solve supply chain technology challenges through developing and maintaining ERP extensions and customizations. Success in this role requires driving complex programs from conception to completion while fostering effective teamwork, communication, and collaboration. The ideal candidate is self-driven, results-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering excellent customer experiences through innovative solutions.

Key job responsibilities
- Architect and lead the development of large-scale frontend applications using React.js and JavaScript
- Drive technical decisions for frontend architecture across multiple teams and projects
- Establish frontend development standards, best practices, and architectural patterns
- Lead the adoption of modern frontend technologies and frameworks
- Mentor senior engineers and develop frontend technical excellence across teams with UX/UI teams to ensure optimal implementation of design systems
- Drive performance optimization and accessibility standards
- Lead system design reviews and architecture governance

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of professional front end development experience
- Experience with enterprise systems including SAP, Oracle, and custom applications
- Experience and understanding of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JS) to help inform design and interaction decisions
- Experience building web applications with React and modern web technologies
- Experience working with REST API based services, or experience demonstrating software engineering skills in a previous intership, work experience, coding competitions, or publications and experience with web-based applications and HTTP
- Knowledge of at least one modern programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Perl
- Experience with jQuery, Node.js, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Redux, Ractive, Ember, or Angular, along with the knowledge of when to use them
- Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node
- Knowledge of database query technologies (SQL)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with distributed systems at scale
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
- Experience working with customers with a passion for delivering exceptional service, or experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities and experience demonstrating software engineering skills in a previous intership, work experience, coding competitions, or publications
- Experience working with changing priorities and schedules
- Bachelor's degree or above in computer science, computer engineering, or related field, or experience in software development

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
