Role: Azure Administrator

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Azure Administrator to manage, monitor, and optimize cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure services, cloud operations, and system administration, along with exposure to Azure Machine Learning environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and administer Azure cloud infrastructure including virtual machines, storage, networking, and security
• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability of Azure environments
• Implement and maintain Azure resources such as VMs, App Services, Storage Accounts, and Virtual Networks
• Configure and manage identity and access using Azure Active Directory (AAD)
• Perform backup, disaster recovery, and high availability configurations
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, networking, and application-related issues
• Implement security best practices including role-based access control (RBAC), policies, and encryption
• Automate deployment and management tasks using scripts or infrastructure-as-code tools
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and data teams for cloud-based solution support
• Support and maintain Azure Machine Learning environments where applicable

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure administration
• Experience managing Azure services such as:
  • Virtual Machines (VMs)
  • Azure Storage
  • Virtual Networks
  • Azure Active Directory (AAD)
• Knowledge of cloud security, networking, and monitoring tools
• Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Azure Machine Learning (ML) environments
• Experience with automation tools (PowerShell, ARM templates, Terraform)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
