Sr Workday developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Workday integrations (Studio, Core Connectors, EIB).

• Develop advanced calculated fields, custom reports, dashboards, and Workday security configurations.

• Lead Workday implementation, enhancement, and production support activities.

• Build and support inbound/outbound integrations with Payroll, ERP, Benefits, and third-party vendors.

• Support manufacturing workforce requirements (shift differentials, overtime rules, compliance tracking).

• Participate in Workday bi-annual releases and system upgrades.

• Troubleshoot integration and data issues across environments.

• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of overall IT experience.

• 5+ years of hands-on Workday Development & Integration experience.

• Strong expertise in:

  • Workday Studio

  • EIB

  • Core Connectors

  • Workday Reporting & Calculated Fields

  • Security Configuration

• Experience with REST/SOAP web services.

• Strong knowledge of XML, XSLT.

• Experience in large workforce environments (Manufacturing preferred).

• Experience integrating Workday with ERP systems (e.g., SAP/Oracle).

• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Workday Integration / Studio Certification.

• Experience with Payroll integrations (US Payroll preferred).

• Knowledge of US labor laws and compliance requirements.

• Experience in multi-state workforce environments.
