Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a minimum of 5 years working with industry-leading Digital Asset Management (DAM) software. The ideal candidate will serve as a liaison between business

teams and IS&T, translating business needs into effective DAM solutions.

Key Responsibilities
DAM/MAM Strategy & Platform Operations

Partner with Apple's IS&T and Marketing teams to implement and optimize enterprise Digital Asset Management (DAM) and Media Asset Management (MAM) platforms.

  • Serve as a primary operational user and subject matter expert for the Orange Logic DAM platform.
  • Support vendor collaboration and system configuration in partnership with third-party implementation teams.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure the platform meets the needs of marketing and production workflows.

Media Asset Migration & Library Consolidation

  • Support large-scale media asset migration initiatives, consolidating content from systems such as Box, DFStudio, and into Orange Logic.
  • Assist with asset ingestion, metadata normalization, and cataloging during migration.
  • Validate migrated assets and ensure metadata accuracy and completeness.
  • Develop repeatable processes for asset ingestion, validation, and lifecycle management.

Metadata, Taxonomy & Information Architecture

  • Design, implement, and refine metadata schemas, taxonomies, and controlled vocabularies to support efficient asset discovery.
  • Work directly within the DAM to organize and maintain metadata quality.
  • Continuously refine taxonomy structures based on evolving marketing and production needs.
  • Ensure metadata governance standards are maintained across all assets and collections.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as a bridge between technical teams, vendor partners, and marketing stakeholders.
  • Translate marketing and creative team requirements into scalable metadata structures and DAM workflows.
  • Provide guidance and training to users on metadata standards and asset management best practices.

Data Quality & Platform Optimization

  • Monitor metadata quality, asset discoverability, and platform usage patterns.
  • Identify opportunities to improve tagging, categorization, and search functionality.
  • Partner with technical teams to support automation opportunities such as AI-assisted tagging and workflow enhancements.

Required Qualifications
Proven experience working with enterprise DAM or MAM platforms (e.g., Orange Logic, Bynder, Aprimo, Widen).
Strong experience managing metadata schemas, taxonomy development, and digital asset organization.
Experience supporting large-scale media libraries or content archives.
Experience working cross-functionally with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.

  • Strong understanding of digital asset lifecycle management, from ingestion to archival.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting media migrations or platform implementations.
Familiarity with Orange Logic or other enterprise DAM systems.
Experience working in media, entertainment, or large-scale marketing production environments.
Knowledge of scripting or data tools (e.g., SQL, Python) for metadata analysis or automation.
Experience with AI/ML-assisted metadata tagging or content recognition workflows.
