Location- Sunnyvale, California

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering roles
  • Strong proficiency in AWS EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with IS Cloud (Apple Internal Cloud) infrastructure management
  • Experience with Splunk building dashboards, writing SPL queries, and managing alerts for observability and security
  • Experience with Shield vulnerability tracking, remediation workflows, and access governance
  • Proficiency in SimCloud infrastructure operations and SRE practices for simulation environments
  • Experience supporting and administering UiPath RPA platform as an SRE including bot management, orchestrator health, and pipeline reliability
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
  • Solid understanding of networking, security, and Linux systems
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and maintain highly available and scalable infrastructure across cloud and on-premise environments
  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery and release processes
  • Lead incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and post-mortem processes to drive continuous improvement
  • Define and monitor SLOs, SLIs, and SLAs to ensure system reliability and performance
  • Automate repetitive operational tasks to reduce toil and improve engineering efficiency
  • Collaborate closely with development, security, and business teams to align infrastructure with product goals
  • Manage and optimize UiPath RPA platform infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance of automation workflows
  • Monitor, maintain, and scale cloud infrastructure on AWS and IS Cloud (Internal Apple Cloud) environments
  • Implement and manage observability solutions using Splunk for log aggregation, dashboards, and alerting
  • Ensure security and compliance using Shield for vulnerability management and access control enforcement
  • Operate and maintain SimCloud infrastructure, supporting simulation and testing environments critical to Apple's engineering workflows
  • Proactively document infrastructure, runbooks, and operational procedures to improve team knowledge and reduce dependencies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a large-scale, enterprise-grade infrastructure environment
  • Familiarity with Apple's internal developer tools and platforms
  • Knowledge of ITIL or SRE principles (Google SRE methodology)
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery models
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer certification
  • UiPath RPA Developer or Infrastructure certification is a plus
