IT Infrastructure Manager

Description

We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to oversee and optimize our multi-cloud environment while leading a talented team in Burlington, Massachusetts. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing infrastructure across multiple sites and involves balancing technical oversight with effective team leadership. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving operational excellence and implementing innovative solutions in complex IT environments.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of infrastructure experts, ensuring accountability and supporting their growth and development.

Oversee and optimize multi-cloud environments, including Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and AWS.

Provide architectural guidance for complex systems, ensuring reliability and scalability across multi-tenant, multi-domain, and multi-forest environments.

Manage and enhance core IT services such as Active Directory, Microsoft 365, virtualization platforms, and endpoint management.

Collaborate with peer leaders and IT teams to align infrastructure strategies with business objectives.

Drive continuous improvement by implementing monitoring, alerting, and automated remediation processes.

Lead infrastructure projects from planning and design through testing and implementation, ensuring alignment with business requirements.

Manage vendor relationships to ensure quality and efficiency in technology tools and services.

Maintain operational stability by overseeing data center operations, including power, cooling, and fire suppression systems.

Ensure compliance with patch management and asset lifecycle processes to maintain system security and performance.

Requirements

Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, including hands-on technical expertise.
Proven experience with servers, virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
Strong knowledge of networking technologies, including firewalls, switches, routers, and Fortinet platforms.
Expertise in Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and endpoint management tools like Intune.
Familiarity with storage, backup, and recovery technologies.
Ability to manage complex environments, including multi-cloud and multi-domain setups.
Demonstrated leadership skills with at least 5 years of team management experience.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively across departments.
