Job Title: Contractor - PKI Engineer

Location: Memphis, TN (OR) 100% Remote (Local candidates will get first preference over non-locals) 

PKI Automation Engineer will help modernize and scale enterprise certificate management through automation.

This role is focused on eliminating manual certificate processes by designing, building, and maintaining automated PKI solutions using Ansible, PowerShell, Python, and Infrastructure as Code practices. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Microsoft ADCS and enterprise PKI concepts but is primarily an automation engineer who can develop repeatable workflows for certificate issuance, renewal, deployment, compliance, and reporting.

Experience with AppViewX or other certificate lifecycle management platforms is a plus but is not required. The successful candidate will help drive our long-term strategy of treating PKI as a managed, automated service rather than a manual operational function.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years experience
• Ansible Automation (Primary Skillset) Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and automation workflows.
• Automate certificate deployment, renewal, validation, and compliance tasks. Build Infrastructure as Code solutions for enterprise PKI operations. P
• Strong understanding of certificate authorities, certificate templates, key management, TLS, and certificate lifecycle management.
• Experience supporting enterprise PKI environments.
• Microsoft ADCS Administration and automation of Active Directory Certificate Services.
• Management of certificate templates, enrollment workflows, and security controls.
• Scripting & Tool Development PowerShell expertise required. Python preferred.
• Experience developing reusable automation and operational tooling.
• Platform Integration & Automation Integrate PKI processes with Windows, Linux, web platforms, load balancers, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with automation platforms such as Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools
