We are looking for SQL DB Architect for our client in Dallas, TX.

Job Title: SQL DB Architect

Job Location: Dallas, TX

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Requirement/Must Have:

1+ years of SQL Server Administration (2012 2022 / Azure SQL).
Experience with Backup/Restore, HA/DR, replication, clustering.
Expertise in performance tuning and query optimization.
Experience in database migration (cross-version, cross-platform, cloud).
Knowledge of data validation and reconciliation.
Understanding of consolidation models: instance consolidation and database consolidation.

Responsibilities:

Plan and execute database consolidation initiatives.
Optimize database performance and infrastructure costs.
Ensure seamless migration of SQL Server instances.
Maintain data integrity and availability.
Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Document processes and governance.

Nice to Have:

Experience with database consolidation strategy.
Skills in migration planning and execution.
Knowledge of database administration and operations.
Expertise in performance optimization and capacity planning.
Understanding of security and compliance.
Familiarity with automation and tooling.
