We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with 10+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Software Testing, and Test Automation. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in API Automation, Selenium, Cucumber (BDD), and Spark, with experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks for enterprise applications. The candidate should have strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills and be comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment with cross-functional teams. Must-Have Technical/Functional Skills ~10+ years of experience in QA Automation / Software Testing / Quality Engineering. ~ Strong hands-on experience with REST API automation and API testing. ~ Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation. ~ Strong experience with Cucumber and BDD automation. ~ Hands-on experience with Apache Spark. ~ Experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks. ~ Strong knowledge of Functional, Regression, Integration, and End-to-End Testing. ~ Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines. ~ Strong understanding of test strategy, test planning, test execution, and estimation. ~ Experience with defect tracking, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis. ~ Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Roles & Responsibilities Design, develop, maintain, and enhance scalable and reusable automation frameworks. Develop and execute automated tests for REST APIs and enterprise applications. Build and maintain robust Selenium-based UI automation frameworks and test suites. Develop and maintain Cucumber/BDD automation scenarios and step definitions. Create reusable automation components to improve test coverage, reliability, and maintainability. Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, API, and End-to-End testing. Analyze test results, troubleshoot automation failures, and identify root causes. Identify, document, track, and validate defects through resolution. Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and QA teams to define and validate quality requirements. Participate in test planning, estimation, test strategy, and automation roadmap discussions. Support continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and automation practices. Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation and Quality Engineering best practices. Preferred Skills Experience testing large-scale enterprise applications. Strong experience in automation framework development. Experience with REST API automation frameworks and tools. Experience working with CI/CD and DevOps environments. Experience working in Agile/Scrum development teams. Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills. Experience with test automation for data-intensive or distributed applications. Knowledge of Apache Spark testing or validation is highly desirable.
