job summary:

We are seeking a Senior Strategy & Process Improvement Consultant to drive rapid, high-impact operational performance across complex, cross-functional workstreams. In the wake of recent system go-lives, this role is dedicated to continuous remediation-rapidly identifying defects, reducing rejections, and eliminating process inefficiencies.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Lean Six Sigma, practical experience facilitating Kaizen events, and an adaptable approach to root cause analysis. You will partner directly with enterprise leaders to transform post-implementation friction into streamlined, scalable operations.

The Senior Strategy & Process Improvement Consultant leads hands-on operational continuous improvement initiatives across 4-5 active post-go-live workstreams. Leveraging structured Lean/DMAIC frameworks, advanced data visualization, and rapid improvement workshops, you will analyze post-launch defects, perform rigorous root cause analyses, and facilitate alignment to implement immediate, sustainable remediation. This role bridges analytical modeling with tactical workshop leadership in a matrixed, enterprise environment.

responsibilities:

Drive Rapid Improvement & Kaizen Events: Scope, design, and facilitate concentrated Kaizen events and rapid improvement workshops to resolve immediate post-go-live operational friction, defects, and processing rejections.

Execute Rigorous Root Cause Analysis: Deploy multi-method root cause analysis frameworks (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone/Ishikawa diagrams, Value Stream Mapping, Pareto analysis) to diagnose post-implementation issues and present actionable remediation options.

Lead Cross-Functional Remediation: Manage operational process improvement workstreams, partnering across enterprise data teams and business leaders to eliminate inefficiencies and streamline workflows.

Translate Data into Executive Strategy: Leverage Excel, Tableau, and internal systems to model operational performance, perform capacity and workforce analyses, and synthesize raw data into actionable insights.

Build Executive Communications: Author high-impact PowerPoint presentations and analytical visual summaries to brief enterprise leadership, drive stakeholder alignment, and establish consensus on solution paths.

Process Architecture & Visualization: Map current-state and future-state end-to-end operational workflows to eliminate handoff friction and establish clear process controls.

qualifications:

Experience: 3+ years of enterprise experience across consulting, strategic project management, and operational process improvement within complex, cross-functional organizations (industry agnostic; enterprise scale required).

Lean Six Sigma Certification:

Required: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification (or foundational Lean process improvement training).

Preferred: Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.

Technical & Methodological Expertise

Lean/DMAIC Toolkit: Demonstrated proficiency facilitating Kaizen events and applying Lean Six Sigma/DMAIC tools to operational continuous improvement (vs. pure static process design).

Root Cause Diagnostics: Mastery of multiple diagnostic frameworks (Fishbone, 5 Whys, FMEA, Process Capability Analysis) with a track record of delivering versatile solution options.

Systems & Software:

Process Mapping: Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, or equivalent enterprise process visualization software.

Analytics & Data: Advanced Excel (financial/data modeling, capacity analysis) and Tableau for data synthesis and performance tracking.

Presentations: Advanced PowerPoint capabilities for executive storylining.

Platform Knowledge: Experience with Salesforce / Salesconnect technology platforms is a plus.
