UX Engineer

We are seeking an experienced User Experience (UX) Engineer with expertise in Vue.js, Vuex/Pinia, JavaScript (ES6), and Laravel (PHP) to build modern, scalable, and accessible web applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing intuitive user experiences, developing reusable UI components, modernizing legacy systems, and advocating UX best practices across teams. Experience with cloud platforms, containerized environments, and AI productivity tools is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain user-facing applications using Vue.js, Vuex/Pinia, JavaScript (ES6), and Laravel (PHP).
• Create responsive, accessible, and high-performance web interfaces following HTML5, CSS3, and WCAG standards.
• Develop reusable frontend components and scalable application architectures.
• Modernize legacy applications by implementing contemporary frameworks and UX best practices.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, UX designers, developers, and business stakeholders.
• Advocate user-centered design principles and promote UX best practices throughout the organization.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, performance, and maintainability.
• Optimize application performance, accessibility, and user experience across devices and browsers.
• Work with cloud-native environments and deployment platforms including TKG and AWS.
• Leverage AI productivity tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, and other AI-assisted development tools.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve frontend and backend application issues.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Skills

Front-End Development

• 8+ years of experience in web application development.
• Strong expertise in:
  • Vue.js
  • Vuex / Pinia
  • JavaScript (ES6+)
  • HTML5
  • CSS3
• Experience building responsive and mobile-friendly web applications.
• Deep understanding of component-based architecture and state management.

Back-End Development

• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Laravel (PHP)
  • RESTful APIs
  • Web application architecture
  • Application integration

UX & Accessibility

• Strong knowledge of:
  • User Experience (UX) principles
  • User-centered design methodologies
  • Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
  • Site performance optimization
  • Usability best practices

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Experience with:
  • Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (TKG)
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Containerized application deployments
  • Cloud-native architectures

AI Productivity Tools

• Experience utilizing:
  • GitHub Copilot
  • Microsoft Copilot
  • AI-assisted software development best practices
