Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP BusinessObjects (BO) Administrator / Automation Developer with strong expertise in SAP BO administration, SDK automation, Java, and Python development. The ideal candidate will focus on modernizing and automating the SAP BusinessObjects BI ecosystem, including universe management, report automation, SDK optimization, and DevOps integrations.

This role requires strong hands-on SAP BO technical administration plus automation engineering capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

SAP BO SDK Development & Automation

Develop automation solutions using:
- Java
- Python
- SAP BusinessObjects SDKs
Utilize SAP BO Java SDK and REST APIs to:
- Read existing universes
- Create and modify universes
- Automate report and publication management
- Manage BO security and administrative functions
Analyze, refactor, and optimize existing SDK scripts for:
- Performance improvements
- Automation efficiency
- Maintainability

Universe Administration & Maintenance

Manage SAP BO universe lifecycle using:
- Universe Design Tool (UDT)
- Information Design Tool (IDT)
Translate business/data requirement changes into technical universe updates
Automate universe maintenance and deployment processes

System Integration & DevOps Enablement

Integrate SAP BO functionality with:
- Git / version control systems
- Automated testing frameworks
- DevOps workflows
Support CI/CD-driven automation and controlled deployment strategies

Platform Optimization & Administration

Support administration and modernization of SAP BusinessObjects environments
Optimize BI platform efficiency, governance, and automation maturity
Support troubleshooting and issue resolution across BO platform components

Hands-on experience with:

Programming

Strong hands-on expertise in:
