OverviewWe are seeking an experienced
Business Analyst to support a large-scale
reconciliation transformation initiative within a complex financial services environment. This role focuses on documenting reconciliation processes, leading end-to-end business testing, and supporting data migration and feed rationalization efforts across multiple stakeholders.
The successful candidate will bring strong
reconciliation domain knowledge, proven
testing ownership, and the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and executive business audiences in a fast-paced delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with business, technology, and project teams to document the current state of reconciliation processes, including data flows, system dependencies, matching logic, currencies, and break handling.
- Independently lead and own reconciliation testing, including defining testing requirements, creating test plans, executing and documenting test cases, tracking defects, and driving sign-off.
- Analyze reconciliation data to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and control risks, and work with stakeholders to validate findings and remediation approaches.
- Document the future-state reconciliation design, capturing process changes, data pipeline updates, ownership models, and production-readiness requirements.
- Produce clear, concise written deliverables, including meeting summaries, testing artifacts, status updates, risks, and decision logs for management.
- Track project timelines and milestones, communicate changes proactively, and highlight delivery risks or dependencies.
- Support knowledge transfer activities to ensure reconciliation processes are fully understood prior to production implementation.
Required Qualifications (Must Haves)- Proven experience as a Business Analyst supporting reconciliations in a financial services environment.
- Hands-on ownership of business testing / UAT, ideally for reconciliation processes or control-based functions.

- Demonstrated ability to produce clear, executive-ready documentation and reporting (no data dumps).
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence challenging assumptions and driving decisions.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience using data tools (e.g., SQL or BI tools) for validation and analysis is an asset.
- High attention to detail with disciplined documentation and evidence handling.
Nice to Haves- Experience with reconciliation platforms or control tools.
- Exposure to system decommissioning, feed migration, or data platform initiatives.
- Experience supporting reconciliations across capital markets, wealth, or complex product environments.
- Prior experience in risk, controls, audit, or operational oversight functions.
What This Role Offers- True ownership: You will lead reconciliation testing end-to-end, with visible impact and accountability.
High-impact work: Reconciliations are a core control function; your work will directly reduce operational risk.
- Cross-functional exposure: Daily collaboration with business, technology, and project leadership.
- Fast-paced delivery: Ideal for candidates who enjoy ambiguity, problem-solving, and driving structure.
- Hybrid work model with a consistent in-office cadence and flexibility.
