Product Owner/Scrum Master - Digital Experience

Austin/Dallas, TX

12-month contract

 

 

Ideal candidate is in central Texas (Austin to Dallas) and will work a hybrid schedule

 

Immediate start

 

This is a combination Product Owner and Scrum Master.  You are looking for someone who handles these roles with a customer facing digital product

Candidates should have a technical background in mobile or web app delivery

 

Bachelor’s degree

Certifications desired.  Product Owner CSPO and PSPO.  Scrum Master CSM and PSM

 

Product Owner

Key Responsibilities

  • Represents user in delivery pods by thoroughly understanding user needs, pain points and problem statements
  • Works with delivery teams continuously to focus on user needs, business objectives and sprint goals
  • Defines the sprint plan, prioritize the sprint backlog and adapt them based on changing circumstances
  • Writes user stories in user’s voice based on frequent interactions
  • Demonstrates new features and enhancements to business leaders and users; incorporates feedback into future development sprints

Key Accountabilities

  • Represents stakeholders and customers voice for the delivery team
  • Creates, refines and prioritizes the backlog of user stories
  • Align feature delivery with product vision and roadmap

 

Scrum Master

Key Responsibilities

  • Promotes a Lean-Agile mindset and exhibits leadership behavior, supporting and enforcing team rules
  • Helps the team to drive relentless improvement and progress toward goals
  • Hosts and facilitates agile events
  • Supports the PO and acts as a bridge between the PO and the engineers

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Facilitate and host Scrum events
  • Facilitate and host Sprint Planning Meetings, Daily Stand-up Meetings, Reviews and Retrospective
  • Coach Agile Team members
  • Remove impediments
