We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The chosen candidate will be involved in all stages of our construction projects, from planning to implementation and maintenance. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and innovation of our electrical systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects and to be a part of a team that is committed to excellence in the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Engineer, your day-to-day duties will include:
1. Designing, maintaining, implementing, and improving electrical instruments and equipment.
2. Inspecting completed projects to ensure conformance with design standards.
3. Applying principles of electrical theory to engineering projects.
4. Conducting field surveys and studying maps, graphs, diagrams, and other data to identify and correct power system problems.
5. Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.
6. Supervising and training project team members as necessary.
7. Estimating material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation.
8. Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings, or topographical maps.
9. Coordinating with contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
10. Identifying innovative solutions to improve system efficiency and safety.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in power systems.
3. Proven expertise in the design, development, and maintenance of electrical systems.
4. Strong knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes, electrical health and safety regulations, and electrical project management.
5. Proficiency in using design and calculation software.
6. Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
7. Ability to work in a team and lead projects.
8. Strong critical thinking, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
9. Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
10. Knowledge of applicable codes related to electronic engineering.
11. Proficient in design and calculation software.
