Systems Architect Engineer – Software Development
Background/Need
The Cyber System Assessments Group provides the U.S. Government with independent assessments of cyber systems and capabilities, and research and prototypes of cyber capabilities. The Cyber Systems Assessments group has a need for a Systems Architect Engineer for software development with experience developing high quality software for the full stack.
Job Description
Design, develop, and support technical programs utilizing modern software engineering techniques, programming tools, and support processes for Laboratory program managers and technical staff. Participate in defining, describing and implementing program deliverables/functionalities. Evaluate and propose use of open source and commercial software, frameworks, and tools where applicable.
Domains: Software/application design, development, and support; coder; system configuration management; system troubleshooting.
Required Skills
- This position requires knowledge of virtual machine introspection techniques and knowledge of multiple programming languages including JavaScript, Python, and Golang.
- The ideal candidate will possess a good balance of software development from operating systems to networking.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

Work Location
Onsite: Individual works generally on-site from the Lexington MA. Candidate should expect to be onsite at least 60% of the time.
Clearance
Candidates must have an active Secret clearance to be considered for this position.
Interview Process
- Initial phone/Zoom screen with HM.
- If candidate advances to the next round, there will be a larger group interview with the technical team.
