Job Title: Java Full-stack Developer

Location: Tampa, FL, USA

Duration: 6 Months + Extension

Bill Rate: $140,000-$162,000

Job Type: W-2 Contract

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable Java/J2EE applications using Java 8/11/17+.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and Microservices using Spring Boot.
• Build responsive and user-friendly front-end applications using Angular or React.
• Implement service-to-service communication using REST, Kafka, or similar messaging technologies.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Implement security using Spring Security, OAuth2, and JWT.
• Develop unit and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito, and similar frameworks.
• Containerize applications using Docker and deploy using Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Participate in CI/CD implementation using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
• Troubleshoot application, performance, and production issues.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, code reviews, and technical discussions.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Core Java, Java 8/11/17+
• Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security
• Strong hands-on experience with Microservices Architecture
• REST APIs, JSON, API integration
• Front-end experience with Angular or React
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with SQL and relational databases
• Experience with Kafka or other messaging systems
• Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong understanding of design patterns, OOP, SOLID principles, and data structures
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
