Overview
Mako's client is seeking a SAP Test Automation Lead with deep Tricentis Tosca expertise to design, build, and scale automated testing across a SAP-centric enterprise application landscape. This role is critical to accelerating test automation velocity while ensuring high-quality, end-to-end business process validation across integrated systems.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on Tosca delivery experience combined with leadership-level insight into automation best practices, framework design, and long-term maintainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of automated test cases using Tricentis Tosca
- Build and maintain end-to-end SAP test scenarios, including:
- Order origination in SAP Hybris
- Core SAP transaction processing
- Downstream integration into Warehouse Management systems

- Deliver high-volume automation (targeting 500 1,000 test cases) with a focus on speed and reusability
- Establish Tosca best practices, framework structure, and reusable components
- Provide guidance on Tosca setup, configuration, and optimization based on prior implementations
- Collaborate with SAP, QA, and application teams to align automation with business processes
- Maintain and enhance automated test suites throughout the engagement

Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca
- SAP-focused test automation background
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end SAP business process automation
- Experience with complex, data-driven testing scenarios
- Ability to operate independently while leading automation efforts
- Strong communication skills across technical and business teams
- US-based, onshore consultant
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience acting as a Tosca Lead or Automation Architect
- Prior exposure to SAP Hybris, C4C, or WMS integrations
- Tosca and/or SAP certifications
- Experience working in large enterprise or manufacturing environments
