Job Title: Data Analyst (W2 Contract)
Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid – 2 days onsite; may increase to 4 days/week)
Duration: 12-month contract with potential extension
Pay Rate: $55–$65/hour (based on experience)

Overview
Our client’s Analytics team is focused on generating actionable insights through data, helping drive smarter, data-informed business decisions. This role is ideal for a data-driven professional who excels at both technical analysis and storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and clarify business needs to frame analytical problems effectively
- Extract, clean, and organize data using SQL, Python, and/or R
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to evaluate potential business actions
- Translate insights into clear recommendations using data storytelling techniques
- Develop presentations using PowerPoint and visualizations using Tableau
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to implement and measure solutions
Required Qualifications
- 3–7 years of professional experience in data analysis or business analytics
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Finance, Economics, Math, Engineering, or Analytics
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python and/or R (technical skills will be assessed)
- Experience with data acquisition, cleaning, and manipulation
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Tableau, and PowerPoint
- Ability to identify trends and insights using both quantitative and qualitative methods
- Knowledge of statistical and predictive modeling techniques
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present insights to diverse audiences
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree in a related quantitative field
- Experience in financial services, auto financing, or consumer lending
- Background in credit risk, pricing, finance, or business analytics
