Data Migration Analyst - Javelina

Job Summary

The Data Migration Analyst is responsible for ensuring the timely and successful completion of the assigned client Migration of Data from a legacy system to Javelina. The Data Migration analyst is responsible for planning, managing, tracking, testing and delivery of the migrated data and processes from start to finish.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

• General understanding of Healthcare and benefit administration business processes
• Responsible for delivery of data migration data being completed accurately and on time
• Support in designing, planning and managing the data migration process.
• Work with subject matter experts and project team to identify, define, collate, document and communicate the data migration requirements.
• Formulate data migration plans including migration risk, milestones, quality and business sign-off details.
• Ability to manage assigned risks and monitor potential impacts as part of the data migration plan.
• Develop best practice, processes, and standards for effectively carrying out data migration activities.
• Perform source system data analysis in order to manage source to target data mapping.
• Perform migration and testing of static data and transaction data from one core system to another.
• Provide industry expertise in facilitating logic for migration of data entities, eligibility, claims, accumulators etc.
• Prepare test cases
• Simple SQL query creation and result evaluation
• FTP protocol knowledge
• Comprehensive knowledge of XML, CSV and TXT files
• Research expertise of migrated data entities errors/issues
• Manage Client relationship at all levels by proactive issue resolution, regular client communication and engagement
• Prepare/Track/Update plan, schedules and status reports
• Keep management updated regarding actual or potential issues
• Act as primary interface or point of contact between clients and all applicable Eldorado functional areas

Years of experience needed

• Must have a business or technical associate's degree, or equivalent work experience
• Must have proven leadership capabilities
• 3 to 5 years related benefits or employee benefit administration experience
• 5 years claim processing experience required
• 5 years claims supervisory experience preferred
• Minimum of five years' experience in managing or building health insurance benefit plans
• Minimum of five years' experience in managing or processing health insurance claims
