Sr. Level Quorum Technical Business Analyst-Only Local from Houston

We are seeking a Sr. Level Quorum Technical Business Analyst to join our client''s Operations Applications team in Houston, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the Quorum application suite, ensuring application stability, troubleshooting production issues, and partnering with business and IT teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting Quorum applications, excellent SQL skills, and a solid understanding of application support, business analysis, and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) within the Oil & Gas industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day production support for Quorum applications, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and user support.
• Analyze application and data issues using SQL queries and database investigation techniques.
• Support application enhancements, deployments, releases, and production support activities.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions.
• Create and maintain BRDs, FDDs, TDDs, and other project documentation.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), test execution, and defect tracking.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams throughout the SDLC.
• Develop and troubleshoot reports while performing data validation activities.
• Support APIs, integrations, middleware, scheduled jobs, and application interfaces.
• Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain application support documentation, knowledge articles, and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting Quorum applications, including:
  • ESUITE
  • QPTM
  • Energy Components
  • QLS
• Experience supporting enterprise applications within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong SQL and database troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with one or more scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, or JavaScript.
• Basic coding and debugging experience.
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies.
• Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, SSRS, Tableau, Cognos, or Crystal Reports.
• Experience documenting business requirements, functional design, technical design, and testing activities.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
