Python Automation Engineer (Fulltime)

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Python scripts and automation frameworks to support RMF processes
• Automate security control assessments, evidence collection, validation, and reporting
• Integrate cybersecurity tools such as ServiceNow (GRC/SecOps), vulnerability scanners, and other security platforms via APIs
• Develop automated workflows to support continuous monitoring and ATO lifecycle activities
• Build data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) risk and compliance data
• Support dashboard development and reporting through Power BI and other visualization tools
• Collaborate with cybersecurity analysts, DevSecOps engineers, and IT teams to embed automation into CI/CD pipelines
• Improve efficiency by reducing manual tasks in risk management and compliance operations
• Ensure scripts are secure, scalable, and maintainable following best coding practices

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Python development experience (advanced scripting required)
• Strong experience with REST APIs, JSON, data parsing, and system integrations
• Experience automating workflows across enterprise platforms (ServiceNow preferred)
• Experience with Azure Cloud environment
• Experience with security orchestration and automation tools (SOAR)
• Knowledge of cybersecurity risk management concepts and RMF (NIST 800-37 / 800-53)
• Experience working with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and data processing libraries (Pandas, NumPy, etc.)
• Familiarity with DevSecOps tools and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and optimization skills
