Enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) Architect

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced MDM Architect to lead the design and implementation of an enterprise-wide Master Data Management (MDM) solution from the ground up. This role will be responsible for defining the MDM architecture, establishing data governance and integration standards, and building a scalable platform that provides consistent, accurate, and trusted master data across multiple business systems.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in data architecture, master data modeling, data integration, and cloud technologies, particularly Azure Databricks, MuleSoft, SSIS, and Azure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of a new enterprise MDM platform, including technology evaluation and roadmap development.
- Define enterprise master data models, integration patterns, and standards across multiple business domains and source systems.
- Design and implement master data consolidation, matching, deduplication, survivorship rules, and golden record management.
- Establish data quality, governance, stewardship, and ownership standards in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders.
- Architect scalable data integration and synchronization solutions using Azure Databricks, MuleSoft, SSIS, and related technologies.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to drive MDM adoption, scalability, and long-term sustainability.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or enterprise data management, with strong hands-on MDM expertise.
- Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise MDM solutions from scratch.
- Strong understanding of master data modeling, golden records, matching and merging, survivorship, data quality, and stewardship.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, MuleSoft, SSIS, SQL, and Azure cloud technologies.
- Experience integrating data across ERP, CRM, and operational systems using ETL/ELT pipelines, APIs, and modern data architectures.
- Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, and security, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise MDM platforms such as Informatica MDM, Reltio, Profisee, Semarchy, or similar technologies.
- Experience with Microsoft Purview, Delta Lake, and modern lakehouse architectures.
- Experience establishing MDM frameworks for multiple domains, including Customer, Vendor, Product, and Asset.
- Experience leading greenfield enterprise data initiatives and mentoring engineering teams.
