● Technical responsibility for a workflow or system with the ability to help gather requirements, define architecture, implement, deploy, and support.
● Communication effective updates and customer feedback to FDE team-members so that solutions can be further ideated for potential use in other customer /govt agencies.
● Example use case: AI augmented entity matching between agency specific systems and Sayari’s commercial world model, surfacing previously inaccessible insights, with a judgement layer ensuring outputs are accurate and defensible for high level decision making.
● 3+ years of experience in a client-facing, technical role (Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Architecture, Technical Consulting, etc.).
● Practical experience leveraging AI, including prompting Large Language Models (LLMs) , MCP tool development, and using APIs to build analytical solutions.
● Experience with AI evaluation frameworks (DeepEval, LangSmith, other)
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between code and mission. You can articulate highly technical concepts with clarity and conviction to engineers, analysts, and senior leaders alike.
● Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguous, complex scenarios.
● Demonstrated ability to write clean, production-ready code, with strong proficiency in programming languages (Python, Scala, Typescript) and its data manipulation ecosystem (Pandas, etc.).
● Deep fluency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
● Exposure to machine learning applications, particularly in NLP or entity resolution.
● Experience building and deploying solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure) and familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
● Familiarity with the modern data stack (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, DuckDB) and workflow orchestrators (e.g., Airflow, Prefect).
● Hands-on, practical experience consuming, integrating, and reasoning about RESTful APIs.
● Experience leading an extended team (likely Turing) on the development of a solution with predictability in schedule.
● Knowledge of graph data technologies (Neo4j, TigerGraph) and their corresponding query languages.
● Experience with authentication solutions like: CAC, oAuth, USG agency specific single-sign on.
● Understanding of standards such as FedRAMP and NIST.
● Experience in, or a demonstrated passion for, high-stakes domains such as AML/Financial Crime, Supply Chain Risk, or National Security.
