Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and proactive Full Stack WordPress Developer responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise web applications and platforms. This role includes both front-end and back-end development, WordPress theme and plugin customization, and integration with enterprise systems.
The position also includes ongoing application support, performance optimization, and security management to ensure high availability and scalability of web platforms. The role will also support future alignment of custom applications with evolving analytics platforms, including Microsoft Fabric.
Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesFull Stack Development & Delivery
- Develop, integrate, and deliver web applications using front-end, back-end, database, and hosting technologies.
- Design, build, and maintain responsive website front-ends using NodeJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks.
- Develop and manage back-end components, including database integration and server-side logic (PHP).
- Build and customize WordPress themes and plugins aligned with business requirements.
- Create and maintain scalable and secure web architecture.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and scalability challenges.
- Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and overall user experience.
- Ensure adherence to security best practices, including regular updates and patching.
Integration & API Development
- Design and implement API-based integrations for data exchange across systems.
- Support ongoing integration initiatives leveraging endpoint APIs and enterprise services.
- Ensure secure and efficient connectivity between WordPress platforms and external systems.
Platform Modernization & Future Development
- Support modernization of legacy applications to modern .NET and current Java standards.
- Align custom applications with future analytics and platform modernization roadmap.
- Partner with BI and platform teams on evolving application needs.
Production Support & Operations
- Provide L1/L2 production support for BI applications.
- Participate in on-call rotation for incident support.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes.
- Support application monitoring and alerting.
- Collaborate with BI engineers, data engineers, and platform teams.
- Maintain basic documentation and support runbooks.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience developing and supporting enterprise applications using:
- Java (UI - Next JS, Backend - Java) AND
- .NET Framework / C#
- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
- back-end development using PHP.
- Experience with code versioning tools such as Git, Bitbucket, or SourceTree.
- Experience with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and similar tools.
- Experience supporting mission-critical production applications.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis skills.
- Experience providing L1/L2 production application support.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git (YAML preferred).
- Experience working with Azure-hosted applications or services.
- Experience modernizing applications to modern newer Java versions and .net framework.
- Exposure to BI and analytics platforms, including:
- Azure data services
- Microsoft Fabric
- Experience building APIs and platform integration services.

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$101,000.00 - $152,000.00 Annual
The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
