A leading home fashions company is seeking a Product/Textile Designer to support a variety of licensed and private-label brands across bath and other soft home categories. This in-office role combines creative development with technical execution throughout the product lifecycle, from initial concept through production. The ideal candidate is a strong individual contributor with a solid understanding of soft home product design, development, and manufacturing.
Schedule: Full-time, in-office.
Compensation: $75,000 to $90,000 per year, based on experience.
What You\'ll Do:
The Product/Textile Designer designs seasonal collections and assortments for bath and other soft home products, creating CADs, repeat patterns, engineered placements, and colorways. This includes developing trims, textures, embellishments, and product construction details, and preparing production-ready artwork and detailed tech packs for factories.
The role reviews samples, strike-offs, and lab dips, managing revisions and approvals, and collaborates closely with design leadership, sales, sourcing, and production teams. The Product/Textile Designer oversees multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
Required Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in product design, textile design, home design, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Experience developing production-ready artwork and repeat patterns
- Strong knowledge of textiles and soft-goods construction
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to take ownership of projects
- Ability to manage multiple brands, projects, and seasonal timelines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Pointcarre
- Experience with hard bath goods
