Summary

Finance Data Design Lead

10+ years of experience in data management, data warehousing, analytics and enterprise data design.

Strong Finance domain experience, including P&L, Balance Sheet, General Ledger, Chart of Accounts, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, financial hierarchies, multi-currency and fiscal periods.
Pharmaceutical, biotech or life sciences Finance experience is required.
Strong experience with SAP Finance, including SAP FI/CO and ECC and/or S/4HANA.
Knowledge of SAP Finance data including GL, Universal Journal/ACDOCA, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Internal Orders, WBS, Company Codes and hierarchies.
Strong conceptual, logical and physical data modeling experience.
Experience with dimensional and normalized data modeling.
Proven experience creating source-to-target mappings, transformation logic, business rules and build-ready design specifications.
Working knowledge of Databricks and lakehouse architecture, including Delta Lake, Medallion Architecture and Unity Catalog.
Experience defining data quality, reconciliation and financial data controls.
Experience working within enterprise architecture standards and governance frameworks.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills with both Finance and technical stakeholders.
