Job Description:

Job Title:Lead Java Developer

Job Type: Contract

Job Location: Remote

Work Schedule: Remote with occasional meetings in office (monthly or quarterly)

Pay Rate: $60-70/hr W2 & $68-80 c2c based on experience

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

Work in a dynamic, fast-paced Linux, RedHat OpenShift environment to design applications using Java, Spring Boot Microservices.
Act as the Technical Lead to coordinate with application developers, architects, product owners, and SMEs to design solutions for scheduled releases.
Collaborate with API developers, team leads, and architects to deliver features using reusable RESTful & SOAP APIs.
Design, implement, and support solutions for:
- API security
- Authentication & identity management
- Traffic management
- Analytics & performance management
Assist in designing APIs that meet core standards.
Apply Object-Oriented Analysis & Design concepts for custom solutions.
Use expert-level proficiency in Kafka for data integration and streaming solutions.
Work with:
- API Gateway
- CDNs
- API performance testing
- CI/CD pipelines
- Monitoring tools
Handle databases:
- Relational: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle
- NoSQL: MongoDB, DynamoDB
Work on AWS Cloud platform for cloud-agnostic solutions.
Use programming languages: C, C#, Python, Angular, WSDL
Work with Managed File Transfer (MFT) tools.
Create dashboards in Splunk.
Build integrations with external services.
Write and modify complex stored procedures and queries.
Prepare test data and functional specifications.
Execute test scripts and resolve code issues efficiently.
