Role: Snowflake Lead Developer Platform with Finance Domain in SC (Onsite)
Location: Fort Mill, SC
Position Overview
We are seeking a Snowflake Lead Developer specialising in platform governance, security, and automation. The ideal candidate will lead enterprise-wide data platform initiatives, establish a Snowflake Centre of Excellence (CoE), and implement robust security and compliance frameworks. This role requires deep expertise in Snowflake security, privileged access management, and end-to-end automation across large, regulated environments.
Core Responsibilities
1. Centre of Excellence & Security Implementation
- Establish Snowflake Coe framework, governance model, and platform standards.
- Remediate audit findings and integrate CyberArk for key-pair authentication.
- Implement Dynamic Data Masking, Protegrity tokenisation, and data classification frameworks.
- Secure credentials using Conjur Vault or AWS Secrets Manager.
- Automate service account credential rotation and policy enforcement.
2. Automation & Integration
- Collaborate with ServiceNow and SailPoint IIQ teams to automate user provisioning and access governance.
- Develop Snowflake APIs for ServiceNow and IIQ integration.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and role-based access (RBAC) across environments.
- Establish comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and audit logging systems.
3. Testing, Validation & Compliance
- Perform end-to-end testing of ETL/ELT processes following security implementation.
- Validate data integrity and compliance across all frameworks.
- Maintain accurate Snowflake use case inventories with ownership, cost, and compliance tracking.
Required Technical Expertise
Snowflake Platform: Advanced administration, RBAC design, Dynamic Data Masking & Classification, API development, and resource monitoring.
Security & Identity Management: CyberArk PAM, Protegrity, AWS Secrets Manager / Conjur Vault, SailPoint IIQ / IdentityNow, automated credential rotation.
Automation & DevOps: Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation), CI/CD pipelines, ServiceNow workflow automation, Python or PowerShell scripting.
Experience Requirements
- 8+ years in enterprise data platform governance and security.
- 5+ years of hands-on Snowflake development, administration, and automation.
- 3+ years implementing enterprise security and governance frameworks.
- 2+ years in privileged access and identity governance.
- Proven experience in audit remediation within regulated industries.
- Demonstrated leadership in large-scale automation and integration projects.
Key Deliverables
- Complete CyberArk integration and audit remediation.
- Establish Centre of Excellence standards and documentation.
- Stabilise and document RBAC processes.
- Deploy Dynamic Data Masking, classification, and Protegrity tokenisation.
- Integrate ServiceNow and IIQ workflows with secrets management.
- Achieve end-to-end automation of provisioning and infrastructure deployment.
- Implement comprehensive monitoring and validation frameworks.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- InfoSec Team: Security and compliance alignment
- ServiceNow Team: Workflow design and automation
- IIQ Team: Identity and access governance
- Product Owners & Application Teams: Integration testing and delivery
Required Qualifications
- Snowflake SnowPro Advanced Certification (Security or Architecture preferred)
- Expertise in Snowflake security, governance, and automation
- Hands-on experience with CyberArk PAM, SailPoint IIQ/IdentityNow
- Proficiency with ServiceNow automation and workflow design
- Proven data protection implementation (masking, tokenization)
- Familiarity with AWS security tools (Secrets Manager, Conjur Vault)
- Experience in financial services or other regulated industries
- Strong project leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills
