Job Description **This position is contingent upon contract award** SOSi is seeking highly qualified senior professionals to support a DHS enterprise cybersecurity program providing 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC) services. These roles deliver leadership, operational oversight, and technical expertise across cyber defense, incident response, intelligence, engineering, and modernization activities.
Job DescriptionThe Deputy Program Manager supports the PM in day-to-day program governance, surge and transition management, and cross-team coordination for a DHS enterprise SOC, ensuring mission continuity across IR, CTI, engineering, and vulnerability management.
Responsibilities- Coordinate staffing plans, onboarding, and surge management for 24/7 operations.
- Support transition activities, COOP planning, and quality/risk management.
- Align delivery teams to program objectives, SLAs, and reporting cadence.
- Prepare executive dashboards, performance metrics, and contractual deliverables.
Qualifications- Experience: 5+ years managing IT or network support/cyber programs (7-8+ preferred for large-scale SOC environments).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or Cybersecurity (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications (Required - one of): CISSP, ISSMP, CISM, or PMP.
- Clearance/Suitability: Must be able to obtain/maintain a Tier 5 (T5) investigation; CBP CSD may require TS or TS/SCI.
Additional InformationWork Environment- Normal office conditions with potential to perform duties in various CONUS locations.
- Core hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 0600 - 1700.
- May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
