RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Aurora, CO that is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer - .NET / Cloud Modernization.
Summary:
We're seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to maintain and modernize a core enterprise platform. This role focuses on supporting a stable .NET/SQL Server environment while driving the transition to a scalable, cloud-native microservices architecture. This person will play a key role in breaking down monolithic applications, building modern APIs, and developing responsive front-end experiences. The ideal candidate brings strong full stack expertise, experience modernizing legacy systems, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and infrastructure teams.
Key Focus Areas:
* Modernizing monolithic applications into microservices
* Backend development with .NET and SQL Server
* Frontend development with modern JavaScript frameworks
* API design and event-driven architecture
* Cloud, containerization, and CI/CD practices
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience with:
* Full Stack Development (.NET + JavaScript Frameworks) (C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET + Angular/React/Vue, TypeScript)
* Microservices & Modern Architecture (Decomposition of monoliths, REST APIs, event-driven design)
* Database & Performance Optimization (SQL Server, T-SQL, query tuning, data modeling)
* Cloud & Containerization (AWS/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes)
* API & Integration Development (RESTful APIs, messaging systems like Kafka/RabbitMQ)
* System Modernization & Problem Solving (Legacy transformation, troubleshooting, scalability improvements)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
