Senior Databricks Data Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Databricks Data Engineer in Charlotte, NC.

Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Databricks and other Azure services
* Implement data storage solutions leveraging Azure Databricks and Azure Data Lake Storage
* Implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform to automate deployment and configuration of Databricks and Azure resources
* Optimize data workflows for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency
* Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues and implement proactive solutions
* Contribute to the architecture and strategy for enterprise AI data platforms
* Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver robust solutions

REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven expertise with Azure Databricks and data processing frameworks
* Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, data management, and data pipeline design
* Experience with SQL, Python, and Spark
* Azure Databricks, Azure Services
* Python and other relevant programming languages for data processing and transformation
* Apache Spark, SQL
* ETL processes
* Data Warehousing
* Data Pipeline Design
* Terraform
* CI/CD automation - familiar with GitHub Actions
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
* Effective communication and teamwork abilities

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
