Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled handson Lead Snowflake Developer Snowflake AI Specialist with deep expertise in Snowflake architecture advanced SQL development semantic modeling and Snowflake Cortex AI capabilities
The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise and the ability to independently design develop and implement scalable enterprisegrade Snowflake solutions including semantic layers and AIdriven analytics applications
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and optimize complex Snowflake data solutions including SQL queries stored procedures data pipelines and data transformations
- Build and maintain Snowflake Semantic Views Semantic Models defining business metrics dimensions relationships and reusable business logic
- Develop and integrate Snowflake Cortex Analyst and Cortex Agents to enable naturallanguage querying and AIpowered data analytics
- Design and implement enterprise data models including dimensional modeling star schemas and analytical data structures
- Develop AIdriven use cases leveraging Snowflake Cortex capabilities including Cortex Search and RetrievalAugmented Generation RAG where applicable
- Integrate Snowflake AI capabilities with enterprise applications using Python APIs Snowpark and Streamlit
- Optimize Snowflake performance scalability query execution and cost efficiency
- Implement data security rolebased access controls governance and best practices
- Collaborate with business stakeholders data architects and AI engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Provide technical leadership troubleshoot complex issues and independently drive endtoend solution delivery
Required Technical Skills
Must Have Skills
- Strong handson experience in Snowflake development and architecture
- Expertlevel SQL programming query optimization and performance tuning
- Handson experience developing Snowflake Semantic Views Semantic Models
- Practical experience with Snowflake Cortex Analyst andor Cortex Agents
- Strong understanding of data warehousing dimensional modeling and enterprise data architecture
- Proficiency in Python and Snowpark
- Experience integrating Snowflake with enterprise data sources and applications
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work independently on complex technical challenges
Good to Have Skills
- Snowflake Cortex Search Cortex AI Functions and RAG implementations
- Streamlit application development
- Experience with LLMs Generative AI and naturallanguagetoSQL solutions
- Experience with dbt Airflow or other data orchestration tools
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform
- Snowflake certifications
