Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with 12+ years of expertise in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code. The ideal candidate will lead DevOps initiatives, build scalable cloud platforms, automate deployment pipelines, and ensure high availability, security, and reliability across enterprise applications. This aligns with common senior DevOps expectations around cloud automation, CI/CD ownership, infrastructure as code, observability, and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-scale CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

• Build and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS (preferred), Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation.

• Deploy and manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS).

• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and CloudWatch.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational tasks using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

• Ensure platform security by integrating DevSecOps practices, IAM, secrets management, and vulnerability scanning.

• Optimize application performance, scalability, disaster recovery, and cost management.

• Collaborate with development, QA, security, and architecture teams in Agile environments.

• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and establish DevOps best practices.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of DevOps / Cloud Engineering experience

• Strong expertise in AWS, EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, EKS

• Kubernetes & Docker orchestration

• Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible

• Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps

• Linux System Administration (RHEL/Ubuntu)

• Python, Bash, Shell Scripting

• Git, GitHub, Bitbucket

• Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, CloudWatch

• Networking: DNS, Load Balancers, VPN, TCP/IP

• DevSecOps, SAST/DAST, Secrets Management

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

• HashiCorp Terraform Associate

• Experience with microservices and distributed systems

• Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
