Job Type: Long Term Contract

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Prevailing Wage & Apprenticeship Compliance Auditor (PWACA) to support compliance efforts for renewable energy projects. This role involves reviewing contractor payroll data, ensuring adherence to prevailing wage laws, and auditing apprenticeship requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in payroll or labor compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit contractor data for prevailing wage and apprenticeship compliance
  • Review and validate certified payroll reports for accuracy and completeness
  • Ensure correct wages, fringe benefits, and labor compliance requirements are met
  • Identify discrepancies and prepare audit reports with findings and corrective actions
  • Maintain and update compliance dashboards and reports
  • Present weekly audit updates to management and stakeholders
  • Gather and review project-specific compliance requirements
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for wage compliance inquiries

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 5 years of experience in payroll, auditing, or compliance
  • Strong analytical and data validation skills
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Prevailing Wage / Davis-Bacon / Apprenticeship compliance
  • Familiarity with Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) requirements
  • Hands-on experience with LCP Tracker (or similar compliance tools)
  • Background in construction, infrastructure, or renewable energy projects
