Mode: Contractual

Skills Required:

• Expertise with Thruput Manager software architecture and batch routing techniques for customer solutions
• Expertise with gathering processing and analyzing SMF data for performance and capacity support
• Expertise with MXG and SAS PDB processing
• Expertise with SAS programming skills on open system platforms
• Expertise managing applications running on Linux (preferably SAS/MXG applications)
• Expertise with Linux BASH scripting
• Expertise managing/developing SAS and MXG on Linux
• Expertise with tools related to performance and tuning such as: RMF, Omegamon, TEPS, and Intellimagic
• Expertise with WLM policy architecture and administration
• System programming background with the understanding of mainframe architecture and application environment capacity and performance support
• Clear understanding of statistical analysis using SMF data
• Expertise around visual communications to highlight key analysis findings, how to resolve issues, how to meet technical/business requirements, and ultimately how to communicate solutions and recommendations to stakeholders and senior IT managers
• The ability to translate business goals into resource usage criteria based on the management guidelines set forth
• Exhibit soft skills exhibited when communicating and negotiating with our customers to help ensure the business functions and criteria are met appropriately with the guidelines set forth by our capacity and performance management group
