Introduction

The Senior Automation QA Engineer will play a crucial role in the testing process by developing and maintaining automation frameworks to support API and UI based testing. They will work closely with the QA Management team to ensure test scripts run smoothly in the target environment and contribute to test planning for each project/release.

Responsibilities

• Participate in test planning to determine which test cases to automate and execute for each project/release
• Manage day-to-day automation repository and the CI environment
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks for API and UI based testing
• Create and maintain Test Plans
• Participate in Sprint automation of test cases
• Determine automation candidates for each release based on selection criteria
• Convert requirements, user stories, design documents, and manual test cases into automation scripts
• Develop and maintain Sanity, Smoke, System, E2E, and Regression Test types
• Regularly update and maintain existing test scripts
• Collect metrics to track time and cost savings
• Provide daily progress reports and escalate any testing or automation issues

Preferred Skills: 10+ years of experience, at least 3 years of onsite experience
