Summary

Description

Responsible for installing, managing and upgrading UNIX/LINUX based systems and servers. They are responsible for the maintenance, configuration and operations of Linux Systems. The system administrator seeks to ensure that the performance, reliability and security of the systems is maintained. maintaining the system with patches and upgrades, and security of the systems, ensuring system backup are configured and working. To accomplish this the systems administrator installs software, software upgrades and patches, provides routine automation; maintains security policies; troubleshoots; and provides technical support
