A bit about us:

We are a well-established organization supporting advanced material handling and conveyor systems across a nationwide customer base. Our team of technicians plays a critical role in keeping operations running efficiently by ensuring equipment uptime, reliability, and performance.

We are currently adding a Electrical Mechanical Technician to our Lifecycle Services team to support customers in the Philadelphia area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting, working directly with customers, and maintaining complex automated systems.

Job Details

What You?ll Be Doing:

\tPerform preventative maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on conveyor and sorting systems
\tTroubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software issues to restore equipment uptime
\tRespond to emergency and scheduled service calls, ensuring timely resolution
\tInstall and support new equipment and system upgrades
\tManage parts inventory and tools on-site
\tRead and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and service documentation
\tProvide technical support and training to junior technicians
\tCommunicate directly with customers to ensure service satisfaction
\tStay current with system updates, service bulletins, and technical improvements

What You Bring:

\tExperience with mechanical and electrical systems troubleshooting
\tAbility to work with tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment (DMM, oscilloscopes, etc.)
\tBasic software/technical knowledge (Windows, networking concepts, etc.)
\tAbility to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics
\tStrong problem-solving and time management skills
\tAbility to work independently in the field
\tPhysical ability to lift 50?75 lbs and work in active environments
\tStrong communication skills with both customers and internal teams

Experience:

\t1+ year of experience in field service, maintenance, or related equipment support
\tHigh school diploma or equivalent required
\tAssociate degree or technical certification preferred (electronics, mechanics, or similar)

Additional Details:

\tLocation: Philadelphia, PA (local travel within ~30 minutes)
\tSchedule: Full-time with on-call availability (nights/weekends/holidays as needed)
\tReliable transportation required
