Detailed Job Description

 

We are seeking an experienced Lead – Container Platform Operations professional with strong expertise in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Kubernetes administration, and DevOps automation. The ideal candidate will lead container platform operations, ensure high availability and performance, manage production incidents, and drive automation and continuous delivery in a 24/7 operational environment.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Lead container platform operations, primarily focused on GKE and Kubernetes.
  • Deploy, manage, troubleshoot, and maintain Kubernetes clusters and infrastructure.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab.
  • Implement GitOps workflows using Argo CD and Flux CD.
  • Monitor platform health and performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and New Relic.
  • Administer Linux/UNIX environments and perform shell or Python scripting.
  • Automate deployments and infrastructure tasks using Ansible.
  • Manage ingress controllers, networking, IP configurations, and application/network load balancers.
