Datawarehouse Testing

Job Description :

• Perform ETL testing including data extraction, transformation, and loading validations
• Validate data from source to target ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency
• Design and execute test cases for data migration, data warehouse, and reporting systems
• - Perform data reconciliation and identify data mismatches - Validate business rules, transformations, aggregations, and calculations
• - Execute backend testing using complex SQL queries
• - Test data in relational and dimensional models (Star/Snowflake schema)
• - Perform data quality checks, duplicate checks, null checks, and boundary validations
• Required Skills & Qualifications
• - 6+ years of experience in ETL / Data Warehouse Manual Testing - Strong expertise in SQL (joins, subqueries, aggregates, stored procedures)
• - Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, DataStage, Talend, SSIS, or similar
• - Hands-on experience with databases like Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, MySQL, PostgreSQL
• - Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts - Experience testing large volumes of data
• - Knowledge of data modeling concepts
• - Familiarity with SDLC / STLC processes
• - Experience using test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, ALM, etc.) Good to Have
• - Experience in cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
• - Exposure to Big Data testing (Hive, Hadoop, Spark) - Basic knowledge of Python or Shell scripting for data validation
• - Domain experience (Banking, Healthcare, Retail, Telecom
